Back in 1974, I traveled to Israel with a group of teens from my synagogue. It was a fun, interesting, and fulfilling trip, but, although it was my first foray into international travel (aside from a day trip into Tiajuana 😉), it didn’t really give me a hankering for international travel. Then in 1981, I backpacked through Europe for 3.5 months. I really got the travel bug then. I was young, never had much money, so I couldn’t really just pick up and travel abroad whenever I wanted. Eventually, I began my career in international trade, started earning a living and, when the children were old enough, started to look internationally again. I have made several trips to various parts of the world and have several more places I want to visit. This blog is to show some of my trips, where I went, what I did when I was there, and some advice if you want to go to these places. I welcome positive feedback and any corrections, when they are warranted. If you just like to read about my travels and see my pictures, that is great too. So, go through the site and don’t wonder if it gives you the itch to travel. I am glad to answer any questions I can and will refer you to other travel sites for better information. I have used Tripadvisor on many occasions to gain information and put questions out on the forum to get specific advice.
Enjoy!
